Prior to joining GeoEnergy, he served as India & Africa Sector Director and Egypt Country Manager at ROSEN, leading operations, business growth, and strategic development across multiple international markets.
Mona Al Adawy

Mona brings over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, combining technical expertise in geoscience with business leadership and strategic management. She founded GeoEnergy in 2009 and has since led its growth and international expansion, with a strong focus on upstream energy, digital transformation, innovation, and capability development.
Samir Abdelmoaty
Director, New Ventures & Strategic Partnerships
Samir brings over 50 years of distinguished multidisciplinary experience in the oil & gas industry, having held senior leadership and exploration roles with GUPCO, PGS, BP, Rockhopper Exploration, and United Oil & Gas. His career combines deep geophysics and exploration expertise with new ventures, business development, country management, and strategic partnerships, supported by an extensive network across the energy industry, government, academia, and professional organizations.
Dr. Moustafa Oraby
R&D Director
Moustafa brings over 35 years of multidisciplinary experience in energy technology, research, and innovation, including senior regional technology leadership roles with Halliburton and earlier experience with ARCO. His expertise spans petrophysics, reservoir characterization, formation evaluation, advanced energy technologies, and renewable energy, combining extensive industry experience with academic research and technology development, including pioneering work in green hydrogen.

Ehab brings over 20 years of human resources leadership experience, having held senior roles with Intercom, Lafarge, and TITAN. His career spans people strategy, organizational transformation, talent management, and organizational development, supporting complex organizations across diverse industries and markets.

Director, Upstream Technical Center
Maged brings over 30 years of multidisciplinary upstream experience, having held senior technical roles with GUPCO, BP, and Naftogaz. His expertise integrates geophysics, geology, reservoir characterization, seismic interpretation, quantitative analysis, and subsurface evaluation, providing a strong multidisciplinary perspective across complex exploration and development projects globally.
Maged Abdel Hamid
Director, Digital Transformation Center
Maged brings over 30 years of experience in upstream digital transformation and E&P data management, including extensive experience with SLB. His multidisciplinary expertise spans subsurface data management, digital technologies, legacy data modernization, information systems, and enterprise data solutions, supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives across the energy sector.
Ashraf Hewaidy
Director, Geomatics Services Center
Ashraf brings extensive multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery experience, with a professional background that includes TAQA Gas and large-scale infrastructure and energy projects. His expertise spans geomatics, surveying, civil engineering, GIS and spatial data, infrastructure development, and field operations, combining engineering and geospatial capabilities to support complex energy and infrastructure projects.

His career combines deep upstream technical expertise with project execution, operational leadership, and business management, providing a strong foundation for leading complex, multidisciplinary energy projects from planning through successful delivery.

Omar brings over 25 years of commercial, sales, and business development experience, with a strong track record in market expansion, strategic account development, and complex B2B solution sales. His expertise combines commercial strategy, client relationship management, negotiations, and strategic partnerships, driving GeoEnergy’s business growth and strengthening its presence across the energy markets of Africa and the Middle East.

Ahmed brings over 25 years of leadership, operations, and administration experience, including 20 years of distinguished service with the Egyptian Armed Forces, where he held senior roles in operations planning, intelligence analysis, logistics, and command, as well as serving as a United Nations Military Observer. His career combines strategic planning, administration, HSE, logistics, and operational leadership, providing a strong foundation for managing complex, multi-location business operations.
